Have you watched Royce Gracie fight? I could (and did) watch for hours. It was mesmerizing. He went from man to spider to boa constrictor in the span of two minutes. (The UFC was showing re-runs of notable matches). I don't know why I sat there watching match after match when they all ended the same way -- with the other guy in a choke hold. Absolutely no element of surprise there, really.

But eh, I'm not into boxing/wrestling, especially the stuff that's supposed to be entertaining. When we were younger, my brother and I would fight over whether to watch Ally McBeal or WWF (now WWE). I don't think I would have watched Royce that long if I hadn't been so taken by his technique.

This quiz was ridiculous.

I don't know if MG even reads this blog anymore. If so, congratulations on the engagement. I'm so very happy for you.

In between the normal bitchings and triumphs of work last night my co-workers and I took a moment to cringe and be very, very, embarrassed for our country.
